Production Tool was originally formed in 1992. Shortly thereafter, the Company hired Maechelle Valencia on a part-time basis. She soon learned how to mill metal parts and eventually began to dabble in the sales side of the business. Through the years, she mastered the business and eventually took over the positions of Sales Manager and then General Manager. In 1999 the previous owner decided to retire and agreed to sell the Company to Ms. Valencia. Production Tool was officially sold in August 2000.
Since the purchase, the Company has developed an excellent management team and a team of outstanding craftsmen. The Company has evolved from a "tool & die job shop" to a full capacity machine shop of high volume. The aim has been to continually improve processes and document procedures, setting the bar ever higher.
Production Tool's customer base has been predominately high-tech, but also services the construction, medical and food industries.
